Several people have asked for pictures of the interior of the boat. We’ve shown a number of pictures of exterior, but not many of the living area inside. So… here it is. We are really quite comfortable and so thankful for God’s provision of adequately spacious accommodations. Originally, we were looking at catamarans in the 38′-39′ range, but decided that since this was going to be our home, not just a periodic getaway, we wanted to be comfortable. Lagoons are noted for their relative spaciousness.

Our Berth. The tapestry adorning the wall over our bed is a replica of a section of the Bayeux Tapestry chronicling the victory of William the Conqueror over Harold in the Battle of Hastings, 1066. We picked this up in Bayeux, France a couple of years ago. Interestingly, the wording (in Latin) of this section reads, “In a big ship…”

Congratulations! We have our boat in sailingflorida and are currently upgrading to a lagoon 44, we’ll catch up with you in the Caribbean in a couple of years!
