Time Moves On

I find it hard to believe that it has been almost 9 months since we first bought Beatitude and started this blog. Our first post was August 29th of last year. When we started our countdown to sailing away (to the right on our home page) we had almost 23 months to go. As of today, the counter reads 19 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days. We have been living aboard full-time for almost 5 months already. The day in which we cast off our lines will be upon us before we know it.

In the meantime, we continue paying off our debt and enjoying our “home” on the water. Later this week, our daughter, Mariah, will be visiting from Boston, where she has just finished her first year of college at Berklee. If all goes well, we will leave the dock for our longest trip yet since bringing the boat to our marina, four days.

I’ll include a couple of shots from our Saturday at Siesta Key Beach. The water was absolutely gorgeous with its multiple shades of blue.

  1. Yes, I would be privileged to read your blog. Guess, I also need to sign up for January’s class. Boat living wow. What adventures lie ahead.

  2. Wow…time is flying by. Don’t want to lose you guys but am happy that even more exciting adventures await! Will live vicariously through you and Cindy 🙂

    • Hi Deb,

The problem was I could not get a response of any kind over a period of weeks. I even paid for the upgraded account. I had simple questions. I was new to blogging and just had how to questions. Zero response over multiple attempts. I emailed “World Tour Stories” who recommended them to see if they could help. She graciously replied back that she personally emailed them on my behalf… still no response! So, that’s the short story. I’m very happy that I switched. 🙂
